Where to begin. Well, after many years of being scared of finding the 'wrong' therapist I finally took the plunge and after much research found the 'right' one. The wrong therapist can (on occasions), do more harm than good and sadly I spent many years putting it off after a bad experience, but I am so glad that I made that step to search again.

Andrew is an exceptional therapist. From the moment he opens the door - with his genuine and kind smile - you instantly feel relaxed. His empathetic nature and excellent listening skills are without doubt his natural super-powers and these are what make him a great fit for the job. It was really important to me to be able to discuss the issues I had been experiencing and to have a two-way conversation with someone who understood. Others I had seen in the past had merely made suggestions that lead you to your own conclusion which I found frustrating as more often than not, (being very self-aware) I already understood a lot of what they were telling me and I needed to ask questions and look down all the rabbit holes!

When you have experienced many years of anxiety and self-doubt it can consume your very being, it is also very corrosive and can sadly leave your body battered with physical symptoms too which are not pleasant. Andrew and I discussed what it was that I wanted to achieve and through active discussion, self-work in between visits and a few hypnotherapy sessions I can honestly say I feel so much more like my old self again, it is like someone has finally released all the anguish and pain that had plagued me for so many years.

Personally, I would recommend going into therapy with the attitude that it is not an easy fix where a magic wand will be waved, but one that you have to work on alongside Andrew's guidance and this will definitely give you the best outcome. If you have a negative mindset and don't want to change old habits then I guess this won't be for you. See it as a mini-project as I have done and you will reap the rewards and more.

Firstly, research the areas that you are struggling with, there is a wealth of information out there online and then use that as a discussion point in your sessions. I found out so much more about my own personality type that I had never even realised before and this alone can be very freeing, thinking and feeling you are different to most people usually just boils down to personality type, it's fascinating. It turned out I have a rare personality type but it made so much more sense to me when Andrew and I discussed my issues as it explains why we behave and react in certain ways.

Life is never easy but if you are struggling with something, don't sit and do nothing - take that first step and despite it being a rollercoaster of emotions on occasions, coming out the other side into the sunshine with Andrew's guidance is the great reward at the end and you really cannot put a price on that.

Thank you Andrew, you have been incredible and investing financially in my mental wellbeing has been SO worthwhile, you are the best!

Just a short note to thank you, Andrew.
You have been a very important part in my ongoing progress in addressing / resolving tinnitus, anxiety and depression.

To say Therapy has been enlightening is an understatement, with daily meditation now part of my routine, it gives me time to chill and focus on what is good for me.

Out of all the Gp, hospital appointments, it’s Therapy and the support of my family that got me to where I am.

My sessions with Andrew have been incredibly productive and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering therapy.
There were a couple of things I'd wanted to resolve for a while, however a decline in professional confidence spurred me to speak to someone.
My therapy with Andrew has restored my confidence, and I'm much less hard on myself. As a result I'm calm, happy and feel better equipped to deal with whatever life throws at me.

After only 3 sessions with Andrew I am already starting to see a drastic difference within myself. Andrew is one of the nicest, most caring people I have ever met, and takes genuine interest in your worries and concerns. He puts himself into your situation and really understands as to why you may feel that way. I have had multiple counsellors over the year that have made me feel rushed and unimportant; and Andrew has helped me more in 3 sessions than any of them over 5 years. I have only had 5 sessions with Andrew but the improvements to my confidence and ability to notice and change negative thinking that was holding me back so much are immense. I have tried a few different therapies in the past but nothing has come close to the help that Andrew has given me. Having tried counselling in the past which identified the issues I needed help with but didn't provide any solutions I decided to try Cheadle Therapy. Andrew's methods of working are much more effective at helping to address the problems and after only five or six sessions I felt that significant progress and improvements to the way i feel about things had been made. I would thoroughly recommend Cheadle Therapy to anyone who wants to try a different approach to help with their problems.
