I regularly attend the Informal service at St Johns at 0930 and would like to share how enjoyable it is. It is aimed for all ages, the very young, the young and like myself, the young at heart (ahem!) It's often led by Rev Dave or another of the parish team.
We sing modern and traditional worship songs. There's an easy to understand Bible story which can be interactive, followed by an opportunity to share or ask questions, and sometimes an activity too.
For the children, there are games to play or craft to keep little hands busy and amused, and they appear to enjoy this and helps them to relax amongst the big people.
And of course, within this, there is time to talk to God, to pray, together, and also quietly.
People are friendly and welcoming and the service is followed by coffee, or tea, biscuits or snacks,

Estuve celebrando la boda de una amiga en esa iglesia. Fue una ceremonia muy bonita. El día anterior tuvimos un "reheasel" donde se nos indico como ir entrando y sentándonos coordinadamente.Todo salió perfecto.
