Complete farce. I've just turned up at the office for an appointment to be told that it was a telephone appointment. Nothing in the email they sent me to suggest this! Why, if I'm at the office did they not go ahead with the appointment whether by telehone or in person. Given the questions the secretary asked (all in the paperwork I'd already provided) it was clear to me they were not prepared for or ready for an appointment with me whether in person or by telephone. The time slot was booked and I was available. Instead I got an industrial tribunal questionnaire handed to me, I don't know if I need an IT, I went for advice and came away with nothing. I'll find another solicitor.

I wouldn't recommend Cleaver Thompson to sort the setting up of a tuck shop. Complete lack of tact, professionalism and empathy when sorting a will in probate from the sudden passing of my Father.

Making sly comments about my family as a whole and having a condescending superior attitude throughout.

All this however, would be forgotten if they could actually do their job.

I can't recommend these enough after 6 long years they won my sons case, they did everything they could to support myself and my son during this time, nothing was too much for them. I used cleaver Thomson for a injury and employment claim both on "no win no fee" the service I received was very unprofessional.
The Secretaries lack knowledge and Julie is very rude !
They don't return your telephone calls or keep you informed with your case. Massive lack of communication and receiving of funds.

I retained Cleaver Thompson for an employment issue to which Andrew Botham proposed a `no win no fee` structure. After countless weeks of chasing his response, Mr Botham informed me that he was no longer willing to represent me on the deal that he himself put forward. With only 3 days left before my hearing, i was forced to withdraw from the case due to being unable to get a postponement from the tribunal. I have never heard of or had any legal representation of any kind behave in such an unprofessional manner. I strongly suggest that you consider this review before using the services of Cleaver Thompson

Never call you back...ignore your complaints...then after demanding my file back I get both my documents and all personal documents for a Vicki Gibson...poor lady hasn't a clue her solicitor in alfreton has breached her data...avoid the alfreton branch at all costs
