After 18 years contracting with Cogent I can honestly say that I've been perfectly happy with them at every step of the way. You get the personal service with your account manager (thanks Adam!!) as well as expert specialist advice when you need it. First class I couldn't recommend them more!!

Since April 2024, I have used Cogent Accounts and Mark Dowling has been my contact. Mark has been great, very knowledgeable and personable. He’s also educated me. Mark produced a financial projection for me which has helped me no end. I can’t recommend Cogent or Mark highly enough.

I first encountered Cogent when I setup my rail consultancy business in 2016. They took all the worry and hassle of setting up a Limited Company away.
My account manager is Vince, who is excellent and very responsive to my questions. So if you want a smooth ride running the accounts side of your business I cannot recommend them enough. They also offer a very competitive insurance package, plus for a relatively small charge they will prepare and submit your tax returns in plenty of time, this has proved invaluable to me.

I've been with Cogent Accountants and with their sister company CMEASY for over 7 years now, and it's been an amazing experience so far. One of the biggest advantages is that at Cogent you are always dealing with the same person. In my case this person is Motty who has always been there to answer all my accounting questions promptly and very informatively. He knows the history of my limited company and is always eager to help with advice.
With Cogent I really don't have to worry about any of the accounting stuff and I can rest assured that my books are always up to date.
I highly recommend Cogent to anyone who has either just started looking for an accountant or who is simply considering alternative options. You will not be disappointed, that's for sure!

I can only give them 5 stars. After a less than satisfying experience with a previous accountant, I decided to switch to Cogent, and can honestly say I have not looked back. Their processes work well, they are responsive and moreover I trust them to do their job well, and they have not disappointed. Their rates are also very reasonable. I have recommended clients to them and will continue to do so.
