Well this has to be the strangest Google review I have ever done!
After coming off my mountain bike and breaking both my ankles I feel I should give credit to the amazing doctors and nurses at Conquest hospital.
I honestly couldn't fault them. I went to a couple of hospitals before I finally got referred here and Conquest showed the best professionalism and care.
I was regularly checked on. I was kept up to date with what was going on. The surgeons that explained what procedure I was going to have were concise and clear. They even made me laugh on a few occasions which kept me positive.
The nurses regularly checked on me and were all super friendly.
The food was pretty good too!
I felt very lucky to have an NHS team that were so good at their jobs.
Thanks again for looking after me.

I have been to the Conquest many times for different reasons , yesterday just for a blood test. The staff are so lovely and helpful . The cafe 1066 is also really great and you can even get parked really quite easily. No one wants to be going to hospital so it is so nice to see friendly helpful people when you get there. My friend Elsie is doing a project on hospital reviews and we were reading all the lovely ones , including about Hattie the midwife. Feeling lucky to have the Conquest as my local hospital!

I came to A&E at 8.30pm and was finally on an IV at 4.30am.It was manically crowded with mixed needs and a medical team working super efficiently. Everything they said they would do was done. I finally after 24hrs had a place in Decham ward. There was such a kind and supportive staff. I felt safe and looked after. A big THANK YOU to you all.

Had a hip replacement at Conquest in November. Couldn't have asked for better care. The staff are exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. My appreciation to everyone from my surgeon, Mr Pearce and his team, to the nurses and health care assistants. I feel very privileged that we have such a good hospital.

Took my 6 year old son by ambulance as was very poorly and hallucinating, very dehydrated from vomiting over 24hrs. Nurse there was extremely rude and almost questioned why we came. Gave him half a cup of apple juice and sat in the waiting room for hours to be seen, ended up walking out and going to a better hospital in Brighton. I will never go here again.

We had our 1st Baby girl on the 23rd and the level of care was unbelievable! Everyone on the midwifery unit was kind, caring and extremely helpful!
We wanted to give a special shout to Hattie and Claire who kept a calm atmosphere and were massive in the whole process! Both of them are a true credit to the Hospital and their unit/team!
Nothing was too much to ask and we genuinely felt safe and looked after.

Thanks again!

Just had an op on the Gardner ward, every member of the staff that treated me was kind and helpful. Everything was very clean, there wasn’t any long wait times. Honestly I don’t know why people moan about the NHS, I think they’re amazing and I’ve only had positive experiences. Thank you, thank you 🧡

Huge thankyou to the endscopy unit where I recently had a procedure done. From nurses to the doctors/consultants 10/10. Made you feel relaxed and comfortable all the time I was there. Few bad experiences with a&e wrongly diagnosed and sent. I try to avoid it the best I can now. Emergency day care unit. Never knew it existed. Even though long wait staff very good. Unfortunately ambulance crew going down hill. Hospital transport excellent never had a bad experience.
