Oliver contacted me on LinkedIn and asked if I was interested in a short phone call to discuss some job opportunities he thought I could be interested in.
I was skeptical at first because similar situations occurred to me in the past and the positions I was offered were always uninteresting (not coherent with my experience) or underpaid, but I always try to listen to people before saying no so I scheduled the call.
I was positively impressed by Ollie's kindness and active interest in me and my personal experience and skills, I could feel he was actually listening to what I had to say and trying to figure out if there was a job opening that would really be a good fit for me. He then sent my CV to a company that apparently was looking for someone with my experience (even though I wasn't really sure at first, I wasn't actively looking for a new job) and I'm glad he did because I received a great offer about a week later that I accepted. Oliver supported me throughout the whole recruiting process, always calling to check in at every step and giving me advice. It's been a great experience overall.

Wanted to speak with an agent about one of their job listings to get more information. I was told that they weren't working that afternoon and that they would call me back the next working day. This did not happen. I contacted them again and the person assured me that the agent would get back to me. He never contacted me at all. If this is the way you treat prospective candidates then everyone please be aware. You want to use agencies when applying for a job as they ought to have an inside track on the job and able to chase prospective employers up on your behalf. How can you have any confidence in your agency if they won't even return emails or phone calls.

I have since used Consult again for another Job posting - this time they have been both professional and knowledgable and assured me that the person in question that never returned my calls/emails no longer works for the company. Hence changing the rating to 3 stars from the 1 star that I originally posted.
