Moving my accounts over to Crisp was one of the best moves I've made in my business. Previously, my experience of accounting was an annual meeting for me to hand over a giant and unpredicatable corporation tax cheque. Most of the rest, I did myself.

The difference with Crisp is like night and day. They manage my books, keep them on track, predict my tax bills months in advance so that I have time to put the money aside, and - just brilliant - a monthly video report of my finances, so that I can stay on track in my business and continue to grow.

Couple that with a willing and enthusiastic team who are always happy to answer my questions and tell me all the options available to me in any situation. These guys are brilliant, and I know that they're scaling up as I am, so they'll always be capable of providing what I need financially. Highly recommended.

We have now been working with Luke and his team throughout 2020. When we originally met with him last year and having personally spent the past 20 years delivering presentations and proposal meeting with clients, I have to say that Luke’s was one of the best I have ever had. Well, yes they have, from the professional and personal relationship Cheryl and I have formed with Luke through to his monthly insights to our company’s performance. He has demonstrated value for money. As a business we have a clear understanding of Wagada’s financial metrics. It is not in the spreadsheets or the graphs but through the interpretation and Luke’s expert and detailed analysis where the real benefit comes. I can honestly say that Luke’s advice and support has without question helped Wagada move forward and grow and I highly recommend him.

Crisp Accountancy has gone above and beyond since I first got in touch with them as I started 32Recruit in September 2020. Luke Desmond, the owner, pointed me in the direction of Stanta, a company offering advice and free courses to start ups in the local area. Additionally to this, I was given further advice directly as I was starting up. Might I add, all of the above was before I even agreed for Crisp to be my accountants and was free.

I compared a few accountancy prices and felt what Crisp were offering was competetive and along with the free advice I had already been given, I felt was the best value too. Upon signing up I was advised Ryan North would be my account manager and Rachel Pugh my Financial Controller both of whom over the first year of trading I have had exceptional service from. I don't think I have ever waited more than 24 hours or a reply to a question and with the accountancy side of business my weakness, I have asked plenty. Usually replies are within an hour or so.

One aspect I found really helped was when dealing with a problem/query, Ryan would record a his screen and do a voiceover of what he was doing so you learn and can deal with it yourself in the future when needed.

Crisp also release a vast amount of free content that is very useful. Normally done by owner Luke Desmond this information or webinars can and have added value to the business, so I would certianly recommend a follow on socials.

Overall I feel the Crisp are a big reason I have completed my first year trading and would have no issue recommending them or speaking to anyone who is looking for an accountants and wants my feedback directly.

What can I say! Junaid is a legend!! incredibly efficient, helpful, knowledgable, friendly, honest and very approachable.
