I engaged with Ruth Slander and Rachael James of woodman solicitors during my family court proceedings. They were exceptionally supportive, knowledgeable and prompt with response at every step of the way.
The words of assurance they offered at the beginning of the case was so encouraging to hold onto. They journeyed with me offering reassuring words at every step of the way. Engaged with proactive Barristers at every court hearing. In the end, they delivered as promised and I got my children returned to my care after 9months.

Unfortunately, we have had a very poor experience with the conveyancing department of this firm, who we appointed to assist with the sale and purchase of properties.

Onboarding was completed and moneys paid at the end of August/start of September. Since then we have received little to no contact regarding the case which has caused a delay in the progress of these matters.

Our original solicitor left the firm without us being made aware and we were not able to determine who was looking after our case after this, receiving only sporadic contact from different members of staff.

We have now been informed that their conveyancing department is due to close at the end of October due to staffing issues and that they are unable to proceed with our case.

We have wasted the best part of 6 weeks with no progress in our sale/purchase and regret appointing them to begin with.

They have been an amazing team!

We purchased a flat near St. George Park. Overall Tianna, Toby and Annie are approachable and have been very helpful.

We are a first time buyer, not knowing how to proceed with property purchase and stuff. Moreover, we are foreign nationals who have been in the UK for just 2 years time, so we are not aware of the UK system too much regarding property. Without their assistance, we would have been in limbo and have much more stress than it should be.

Our case started with introduction from Toby and Annie, regarding the costs, quote, terms etc and they made it clear in the beginning. Then Tianna took over the entire conveyancing process. She was really helpful and dependable. She even replied to some "silly questions" which I simply do not now the legality of them. I would rate their service as extremely good, if Google can give 6 stars i will gladly give to them.

My recommendation is, appoint a GOOD solicitor for property purchase. It is a stressful process, and having a good solicitor will be really something you will appreciate for.

You let us down. We instructed you to sell our house and purchase another in early September. NOTHING was done on our case for many weeks and then you email us to say your closing your conveyancing dept. and you can no longer continue with our case. We are 2 weeks away from an exchange date and starting again from scratch. Why take on work if you can't fulfill. Cannot recommend.
