Stuart was excellent. Installed unvented hot water cylinder and all the bits that go with it. Removed all the old water system and complexity of pipes that others had installed. A really excellent job, leaving us with pressure and piping hot water. He even insisted on cleaning everything up afterwards.

Check that you are actually having the work carried out by this company get a written quote before the work is carried out. I called out Stuart Brearley of Deeping Gas & Electrical based on his standing with Worcester/Bosch but the work was carried out by Scott of Platinum Plumbing & Heating who he sent out to me without informing me that he was sending another company. During the two days that the work was being completed Scott was constantly in touch with Stuart for prices to quote and instructions for what to do so I believed that I had booked the work through Deeping Gas & Electrical. The first I knew there was something amiss was when Scott asked for payment to his company name but he informed me that Stuart would send an invoice after I had paid. Well I will not pay one company and receive an invoice after payment to another company! Then two days later the boiler cut out and thinking it might be linked to the work carried out I called Stuart of Deeping Gas & Electrical Services as I had been informed he was to invoice me. He was EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME telling me the contract was not with him as he had passed me on to Scott. I pointed out that he never once told me he was passing me on to another company and I had been under the impression when I accepted the quote for the job that Scott worked for him. I had called Deeping Gas & Electrical based on his credentials but I knew nothing of Scott's level of competence and I should have been allowed to make a choice of employing another company. When asked what his level of competence was Stuart told me HE DID NOT KNOW OR CARE.
