Nothing but unhelpfulness and problems and delays, from start to finish. "We can't." is the refrain of the day. They can't help with my test forms, they can't help with my prescription, they will call back (they never call back), they discharged me from my doctor for failing to attend an appointment I attended and have proof I attended and made several calls about as a result of my attendance.
I wasted so much money going to and fro Dorking because they don't want to help with anything, they don't know anything, they can't do anything.

I have attended appointments at multiple departments here and I only have good things to say about all my experiences. The doctors and staff are all very professional, friendly, helpful and caring. Despite seeming very busy sometimes, they run on time, and it is very clean.

I was referred to a cardiologist, Dr Christopher Primus and an endocrinologist Kavitha Lakshmipathy by my GP. When I eventually saw both doctors I was entirely satisfied with their treatment. Unfortunately both before and after the actual appointments the service from DHC has been poor.

Firstly, both initial appointments were cancelled. In the case of Dr Primus I wasn’t informed until I’d arrived at reception for my appointment. While my appointment with Dr Lakshmipathy was inexplicably postponed for three months, until I called to have it brought forward. On the date of the rescheduled appointments, I was kept waiting in for 25 minutes beyond my appointment time.

Then after my appointment with Dr Primus, I didn’t receive the follow-up letter until 25 days after the appointment. More importantly, when I met with my GP 50 days later, she still hadn’t received any correspondence from DHC about my cardiology referral. My follow-up letter after my appointment with Dr Lakshmipathy also took 25 days to arrive. Likewise 38 days later, my GP hadn't received any correspondence relating to my endocrinology referral.

After my appointment at DHC I was referred to East Surrey Hospital for three scans. None of the three scan appointments were cancelled, I was seen at my appointment time and I was treated wonderfully on each occasion. And the results were sent to the referring specialist and my GP within a week.

It seems to me that DHC is the weak link in my treatment. I have no complaints about the either doctor or the nurse I saw there, but in my experience, the admin side of this hospital leaves a lot to be desired.

What a breath of fresh air having been to a few other hospitals over the past 18 months. Easy, free parking, so well organised and friendly staff and my highly professional consultant Mr Jethwa who exudes confidence. This has truly made my day. Thank you all of the team at DHC; lets not forget they have been in the front line delivering an amazing public service over all of these difficult years. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I know the NHS get a bad press but this fabulous local hospital is highly recommended. I was seen on time by a nice, friendly, professional individual. Seating areas were clean and tidy. Water coolers were full and working. The community care was also clean and tidy and offered a good selection. This was my 3rd visit in the last month a d it was the same each time. I also had no trouble parking
