Diane Genders and her whole team are absolutely fantastic. They have promptly sorted out a situation out for me which other solicitors failed to do over the course of a few years.

From the initial consultation Diane was both friendly and knowledgeable and knew the exact steps to take to efficiently resolve the situation, instead of using guess work which a lot of solicitors appear to do nowadays.

The ladies in reception are also brilliant and all appear to have an extensive knowledge of the law and procedures that need to be followed so they too can quickly and efficiently deal with any queries.

Yes all solicitors are expensive as everyone knows, but with Diane I feel the money has been put to good use via proper bill breakdowns so you can see where the money has been spent, but most importantly using it wisely to reach a conclusion. I will not use anyone else in the future and will not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone.

I used these solicitors 10 years ago and the service was incredible. I called them again today looking for an important document and within minutes was emailed to me. The service is still amazing, professional, friendly and the member of the team still remembered me. Cannot express how good this company is and they just seem to get better. Don't go anywhere else.

They did my partners divorce communication was really bad. Had to keep chasing them and all they do is bill you at the end of the month and then to top it they sent the papers through to Court, they rejected it due to the signature not being clear. Why do you pay a solicitor to do a job properly? And to add insult to injury, they billed Him for their error.

Nice to read that things haven’t changed at Diane Genders. It has been a number of years since I first set foot through the door only to find that she is more than willing to empty your bank account in fees, and deliver absolutely nothing in return. Regretfully I stuck around with her for far too long before I twigged on as to her practice, and so took my business elsewhere. Stay well away from a firm that had/has to advertise on local radio

Don’t be fooled by what appear to be out-of-date and/or fake positive reviews inflating Diane Genders Solicitor’s review score - I’m surprised Genders is still in business: but barely is with 3 staff in total!

Advised by local legal professionals that Genders was ‘focussed only on revenue’, ‘doesn’t have a conciliatory bone in her body’ and is a ‘one-trick pony’, all of this proved completely true. Acting for my ex-partner, Genders filled her bank account while following her usual routine (attempting to coerce a baseless settlement under threat of court action - scare tactics without sound foundation) only stalling when my ex ran out of money. Genders wouldn’t engage, in any way, until the money started to flow again.

Calling Genders bluff and taking matters to court (on 3 occasions), Genders proved totally ineffective, only achieving a single figure percentage of the divorce settlement sought - this amount eclipsed by her unjustifiably high fees.

If your ex is blinded by emotion and vengeful, he/she is an ideal candidate for Genders’ services. But, if he/she has engaged Genders fear not - Genders is nowhere near as good a solicitor as she claims to be, albeit exceptional at accruing fees!

I liked Diane very much and she educated me to advocate for myself in mediation effectively. She never spoke down to me and I felt empowered which was important.

Sometimes I needed to chase up things a little (though most of the time it was slowness on the part of my ex) and it’s not cheap, but then I don’t feel she took an opportunity to take more money than what was needed.

My husband refused any spousal maintenance and I ended up with £850 per month for 5 years. I can manage while my children grow and buy my own house now.

I haven't made many regrettable decisions in life, but choosing Diane Genders Solicitors will certainly rank as one of the worst! At the point of when I relieved them of their duties representing me, my costs were at least double what I was anticipating. I was even charged for their time to correct errors they had introduced into legal documents. In the end I represented myself in court and got the deal I wanted. My advice would be to avoid at all costs! This company is very efficient in one area - billing - which they will do with alarming regularity. I was seriously considering financial ombudsman action and did lodge a formal letter of complaint. However, I was so jaded by the experience, I just wanted to put this whole thing behind me. Go for one of the more reputable firms in Lincolnshire would be my advice. Lesson learned!

Reception staff lovely but because they don’t offer anytime free. They wanted to charge me £100 + VAT (for 30 mins) OR £200 + VAT (for an hour) just so that they could quote me for our case.

So basically I couldn’t even speak to a solicitor without paying a minimum of £120!!

Whilst I validate the need for self worth. I think this is a new level of greed and exploitation.

I prefer to at least say hello to a person before handing over money. I’ve no idea how this business operates. It’s a shame as well as we would have been a good earner (complex case) for this company with several pensions, property, children and new partners to consider. There loss I suppose.
