Nerys has been my therapist for over a year. She engaged with me and we did EMDR therapy. I was able to complete our sessions via Zoom, which made me very comfortable. Nerys was able to help me find the root of my traumas and process them in a way which was extremely effective. I have suffered for many years with these traumas, and Nerys took the time, patience and commitment in helping me move forward with my life. I have new skills which will help me in the future. Nerys was able to help me rebuild my confidence, and helped me see through complex emotions. I am now feeling strong, motivated and genuinely happy.

I have loved working with Nerys, I contacted her after receiving a recommendation from a friend and was impressed by the professionalism displayed by Nerys and her team as they arranged my first session.

I have had numerous sessions with multiple counsellors but still felt a nagging anger/sadness. Nerys provided the expertise and environment to take me through DBT which allowed me begin to understand what I was feeling and gave me a number of tools to help on the more difficult days.

We then went onto EMDR which allowed to look at some early childhood experiences and process them, one day I noticed I no longer felt this uneasiness in my body anymore, this had been present for nearly 30 years. Nerys’ expertise and manner helped make this difficult task so much easier and today I feel free of the past. To make peace with the past is a gift we all deserve.

I had some concerns about working on-line but quickly realised that having the sessions whilst on my sofa with a cup of tea helped me relax and be present for our sessions. Online sessions also reduced the need to take time of work and made things much more convenient.

The therapy sessions with Nerys have been a tremendous help for both my mental and physical health. I was recommended to her through my company. I was pretty cynical at first but have found that engaging with a professional therapist helped me develop the correct strategy to understand my physical health better and how it effected my mental health. I found the wellbeing strategies and processes very useful and continue to use them on a daily basis. Being able to access the service on-line also enabled me to fit this in with my work, family and carers commitments. Over the past 3 years of therapy with Nerys I have found myself better able to discuss metal health with both my friends and colleagues, and have joined a number of self help groups and activities where we support each others health. Its quite surprising when your more confident to discuss mental health issues how many of your colleagues and friends are also working with a therapist or feel they need more help.

I have worked with Nerys for over two years following an RTA. Nerys is patient, kind and friendly while remaining professional. She quickly puts you at ease and is a constant reassurance that you are going to feel better.

All of our sessions were over zoom which I found very beneficial as I could easily relax as soon as the session was over. I also found the online sessions along with Nerys' flexibility a huge help with scheduling time around work.

We used EMDR to process the trauma I had from the accident and help me get back to feeling ok with driving again. Although hard to relive the accident during therapy, EMDR has had a massive impact on my recovery and I now feel much more positive being in the car as well as happier in life.
