Fantastic pub which is closed for a little while whilst new owners take over. Food was always great on the open mic nights when served.

Lovely village pub. On side carpeted, one side laminate. Pool table. Regular live music. Open Mic nights. Dog friendly. Staff and locals very kind and lovely. The on tap beer regularly changes, but a usual list continues. Can be a little chilly at times during the winter, but this is during the cost of living issues, so is to be expected. No car park on-site, but on-street parking nearby, or a car park a short walk away. On the high street opposite the pharmacy.

Popped in there late one night as a total stranger. Found a really warm atmosphere, with both staff and regulars cheerful and very friendly. Looking forward to returning to this superb local pub as soon as I am back in the area.

They revived a saturated group of mourners from a burial during monsoon quantities of rain! Hot chocolate, warming scotch, a splendid spread of sandwiches, chicken legs, quiches etc. Owner and staff were warm and caring!

Really lovely village pub has a great vibe and a wide selection of drinks to chose from which is great .... Also has a pool table, a darts board and a digital music box. Edit *** Almost forgot to mention the beer garden out the back.

Lovely people running the place but as someone with severe allergic asthma I fail to understand why dogs are brought in of an evening. We only popped in on our weekend away to chill out a bit and nearly ended in a full asthma attack.

A typical local village bar. Staff and customers are welcoming. Free pool, darts and poker nights. Food served although not tried. Beer garden.
