It was one of the poorest experiences I have had with a solicitor in all my life. So many mistakes over the payments of a divorce and my complaints have been repeatedly ignored by Chris Porter. I am still contesting an overpayment from November 2017 and have been forced to report England & Co to the Legal Ombudsman. * update* They tried to persuade me to remove the reviews as they felt it was unfair as they said technically I was not their client. The fact that I did not hire this company to oversee my divorce, I did agree to pay half the costs directly to them for a service provided by them. The issue was that after questioning the amount of payments I had made, I was incorrectly informed of the remaining balance. I paid what I thought was outstanding, and after questioning myself, I checked my bank statements and found I had paid £60 too much. After numerous phone calls, I proved the overpayment by sending my statements to them. They decided to only pay half back and said it was my fault for not checking. The poor communication, false information, repeated failed return calls, and the outstanding owed money that apparently I can do nothing about has left me advising people of my experience and persuading them to take their business elsewhere. I will definitely never use this company, ever!!!

England & Co are the company I always recommend to my clients as a mortgage broker. I hadn't used them personally until me and my wife sold and purchased a new property.

They were outstanding throughout, Vickie, Chloe, Amy & Rebecca all went above and beyond to chase the other solicitors to progress the sale and purchase. Solicitors on the other side were poor to say the least and England & Co were a constant rock for us. It was so reassuring to know we had competent solicitors on our side.

It got to a really sticky point just 3 days before completion and we hadn't exchanged. Without the hard work of the people named above, I genuinely don't think we would have completed when we did. They totally justified my recommendations to other clients to use them.

I've used almost every solicitor in Norfolk through clients now and I can honestly say that England & Co are the best by a country mile. They're honest, punctual & very knowledgeable of all elements of the house sale, purchase & remortgage process.

I can't thank them enough, they're all superstars.

Avoid At All Costs. Absolutely abysmal service. Communication is beyond Dreadful. Couldn't find my file of 18mths. Extremely Rude. Don't listen to you. About as clear as mud.Blatant lies, lost correspondences. Dont reply to calls and emails. Wasted time and money!!

After being treated poorly by another solicitor, I rang up England & Co. It was like night & day in comparison. When I turned up to my appointment the receptionist was friendly and made me feel at ease and Vickie was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the appointment. Everything was sorted quickly and I left happy with my experience. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Only thing I wish is that I went to them first!

Apalling service, the solicitors ONLY talk to you at the beginnging to sign you up. NEVER get feedback, we paid £3K+VAT for a straightforward probate... Their trial balance was wrong.. They charge you for their due-dilligence, YET they missed out an amount owing to the estate... and took a YEAR to sort it out: Awful
