I have had an exemplary experience with ENT SOUTH WEST. My consultant Mr Mohamed A Khatwa has been exceptional throughout. From my initial consultation through to the pre op and surgery he took time and clearly explained the procedure. He has demonstrated a friendly and reassured presence throughout.
My hospital stay was comfortable and I was well attended and look after throughout. From the consultant through to the anaesthetist and nursing staff, I have been made to feel well cared for and confident in the procedure. My after care had been equally thorough and reassuring.
I could not be more happy with the experience and am very grateful.

Saw Dr Khatwa on the 26/11/2024 at the Exeter Nuffield. So pleased with the outcome.
He made feel relaxed from the start with his manner and listened intently as I explained the problems with my Ears and Nose.
After an examination he was able to explain the problems I had in detail, backed up with film taken and diagrams.
He then detailed the future treatment I should take to solve the issues.
this was all done in a very Professional way but more importantly in manner that left me in no doubt as to the problem I have and the way forward with treatment.

I needed to seek professional advice concerning extreme discomfort in my sinuses.

We, my husband and carer, contacted the Exeter branch of the Nuffield hospital and was offered an appointment within a fortnight to see Mr Khatwa.
Mr Khatwa was most helpful, he explained why I was in pain, what could be done and gave useful advice on future care.
My scan, which was done on the national health, was well explained and a diagnosis was given.

We are grateful to Mr Khatwa, and his team, as I really couldn't have suffered while on the 9+ month waiting list of the national health. The cost of going private, which I know cannot always be achieved by everyone, was reasonable and well worth it on this occasion.

After years of suffering with sinus infections and headaches, Mr Khatwa completed an examination & CT scan to find I had a deviated septum & polyps. After undergoing septoplasty & nasal endoscopy surgery my infections have now stopped and I can breath so much easier. Nasal drip has stopped and everyday headaches have reduced. Excellent service from an experienced surgeon & team at Nuffield Exeter hospital.
