Dreadful service. Which I had to pay for and was nothing like i was told on telephone before hand.Total waste of time and money and false information given at the end. I took part in Mediation and all went well. But then they sell a certificate to say communication broken down to help one parent with a court hearing as within 3 months of completing the sessions even when there were no issues.
I feel the £500 voucher from welsh government should be reviewed especially at this practice

Not a great experience, I was told we would be in separate rooms. Then when I was talking the other party could hear everything I said and vice versa.
Which I feel set us back further.
Didn't mediate was just told 50/50 or we go to court, there was no discussion with either party prior to this
Then I was sent an email for another client on feedback for the session.

Awful company, first mediation my ex partner has her say, got told the mediator said that we were too far apart and I never even had my say? Mediation is about 2 sides I thought!? Year after I came back to have a self referral, and took 4 weeks to check if I can get legal aid? Hardly any contact and can't even book an appointment until they find out if I'm even eligible, awful if time is of the essence. How can they work like this!?
Use the mediators in Cardiff instead. Effortless.

I have dealt with “Family matters” on a few occasions and every time they have been massively helpful, polite, professional and patient. They are always quick to respond and clear with explanations. They are down to earth people making a daunting experience less anxious. I honestly believe they genuinely care for all individuals involved. I felt I was treated as an individual and not as just a job / tick box exercise. I can’t thank everyone at family matters enough for the all round service I’ve received at such difficult times. Thank you.

Not that I ever thought I'd need these services ,but they have helped my daughter .

Don't touch them with a bargepole ! They are completely incompetent and when you raise a complaint they ignore you.
