Given the managing directors response to our comments below just reinforces our view that we would not recommend this organisation at all to anyone.

Our experience with the Family mediation centre Staffordshire was very poor, they addressed us incorrectly at the start of the process and certainly did not check facts prior to the first contact.

The managing director of the organisation Emma then following the first mediation session …hassling us about second mediation appointment writing in an email, prior to us receiving the outcomes from the first session.

Her email included the following (names have been redacted for confidentiality purposes:

“I have received an email from (name redacted) in relation to asking whether a further mediation session can be arranged and whether you would both be willing to attend a second session with (name redacted) and (name redacted).

I have not yet processed or received the notes from the mediators for your last session and there may be an outcome letter to send but, I thought I would broach the question now,”

You would have thought that the managing director of a mediation service would wait until she had all the facts to hand before acting on things especially after the mediators had been told one of the participants was vulnerable within the first session. Not this one it appears!

Given our experience I would certainly not recommend using their services.

I went into mediation fully anticipating it to be just another red tape exercise before taking things back through court.
I was pleasantly surprised! From the off Denise and Abigail were simultaneously compassionate and professional, and I felt they really listened ❤️
Much to my surprise after only our second session we had come to a perfect agreement which in my eyes was as close to what our daughters were asking for as possible.
Equally important for me was that my children got to have their say and this was done in a beautiful office (although they were given the option of online).
They both had a very relaxed stress free conversion with Abigail and came out happy they had been listened to.
Here is the feedback my youngest gave!
'I had a wonderful experience at the Mediation Centre. The staff were lovely, and I was even offered free biscuits of my choice upon my session. The wait time was short, and I spoke with Abigail, who asked brilliant questions and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this center for their excellent service and friendly atmosphere'.
If you are in the unfortunate situation where there is a family disagreement, I cannot recommend the family mediation Centre enough ?

Absolute first class couldn't rate them high enough. I undertook mediation with severe reservations and was sure it would not help. Could I have been anymore wrong. The ladies went above and beyond and put our needs and the needs of our children right at the forefront. Very professional from start to finish.

I've contacted family mediation centre Staffordshire regarding parental responsibility around discussions with the biological father i've contacted family mediation centre staffs regarding printer responsibility of any discussion with the biological father and i can sympathize with hair rude they are spoken bio email to emma richardson the director where she is being extremely rude showers that she clearly does not understand the family law act
I would be very wary of dealing with this company in their attitude has made me go to a different mediation service because it does seem like they clearly do not know what they are doing they're dealing with my partner as well and don't even know her name doesn't speak highly of a company when the executive director doesn't know the clients name and he's continuously rude obnoxious and totally disrespectful she also shows that she does not have and the company doesn't have any respect for safeguarding a child
