We registered here as we've just become the new owners of a labrador Pup. As a first visit experience and just becoming members of the Pet Health Club, we're very happy . We attended for his general health check and his 2nd jab, because it was a relaxed and calm atmosphere in reception and with the Vet it helped to make two owners and a puppy very happy.

Very pleased. We’ve had some very bad experiences with vets in the past, which has resulted in us and our cat (Molly) being apprehensive about visiting. Our first visit to Fenwold after recently moving to the area was actually very pleasant, and both the reception/nursing staff and the vet were very professional. They made the visit the least traumatic visit to a vets we’ve had with her. She came home after her injections and was her usual self, rather than her hiding away after a visit. We are very pleased we chose this veterinary practice! Thank you so much.

Our first encounter with this practice was great. Had a female vet who showed compassion and genuine care. However our last visit caused us to register with another vet. We took our cocker spaniel in for anal gland release. There was no friendly introduction. Just an immediate violation with at least 2 if not 3 fingers. She was in agony. She scratch my arm so badly I had a deep scratch which has scarred. I was certain he only did one side. She had many loose stools on walk home plus constant scooting. She had many issues in following 4 weeks. Booked into new vets. They did a gentle check. She had an anal gland infection . She has anti inflammatory meds and antibiotics and an appointment for anal gland release in 10 days. I am disgusted with treatment from Richard and truly feel he needs striking off register. Since heard so many complaints about Richard I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

They were perfect our little kitten Alfie went there to be neutered and they could see we were nervous and so was the cat and they kept us all calm and reassured. The price was excellent and the care was outstanding. The staff truly do love their jobs and the animals they see everyday.

This practice and vet Richard has been my regular vet to my dogs and horses when they had a large animal practice over 20 years and I live in Kirkby in ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Cannot recommend them highly enough. My dogs are nervous in the waiting room (picking up on other animals and humans) but settle down in Richard's hands. Tigger was a little b______ but so well behaved and excited to see everyone there regardless of (mainly human) nervous breakdowns going on around him. Fenwold can give my number to anyone wanting a recommendation.

Had a first visit after registering my dogs. Really friendly staff and great communication from the Vet about my ageing dog. Really happy with the service so far. My previous Vet in another practice had retired and I needed to find another Vet I felt comfortable going to, especially now my dogs are getting older and might have more health issues. Admittedly, they are a bit more expensive than my old Vet, but probably more in line with what I should have been paying! Glad I found them.
