Excellent course today – not only a fully instructive first aid course, but full of anecdotes and surprising events from Steve's long paramedic career. I especially enjoyed the cpr challenge using the bluetooth mannequins! Highly recommended.

Steve's knowledge, understanding and experience is communicated in a way that gave me real confidence that should the worst happen I could do my bit to help. He answered the 'why's' behind all aspects before I had to ask.
The course was adapted to ensure all participants felt safe and comfortable to join in, in line with their own ability. The practical sessions were still included but in a covid-safe manner with some real innovative ideas that made it relatable.

I attended Steve Jenkins' Emergency 1st Aid in the workplace course to renew my 3-yearly certification, required for my work as an aromatherapist. It was clearly and comprehensibly presented in both theoretical and practical elements. Steve's unobtrusive practice of using biological language where relevant (eg reference and description of fibrillation, reference to lumen etc) was especially welcome - in my experience this is often avoided on these courses, presumably for fear it might lose the focus of participants. Through the course of the day we were required to engage in practical assessments and submit a simple written test at the end. The venue was convenient and comfortable, and we were kindly offered refreshments and lunch from the in-house organic menu. Many thanks Steve - I will happily renew in another 3 years!

I attended a First Aid Training GB course at our workplace. Steve’s knowledge, firsthand experience, and delivery was exemplary. The practical demonstrations were useful and enjoyable, with all participants able to engage at a level they were comfortable with. As another reviewer has mentioned, “Steve was able to answer the 'why's' behind all aspects before I had to ask”, he was able to do this without being boring or self-aggrandizing. Although there are no guarantees how you’re going to react in an emergency, by the end of the day, we all felt more confident that if faced with the worst, we now had a much better chance of being able to preserve life, prevent the situation worsening, and promote recovery.
