Fortress accounts were recommended to me when I started out as a contractor. I had zero knowledge of looking after my accounts and dealing with HMRC and Andy Smith from Fortress was a god send.

Andy is always contactable and will explain any tax issues and questions you have in great detail (and believe me I had many). He will also hold your hand and guide you through any accounting decisions you have to make.

But where Andy really shines is in his proactivity. For example he will send out key emails about new government legislation, updates from the budget etc. and explain how you are affected or what grants you can claim for.
