Very disappointed with this company.
Employed them to carry out structural design of 2 ICF barn conversions.
They started out well but once they had been paid they stopped responding. Asked them to design a steel beam over the front door and got no response even after chasing.
Also waiting for design drawings for 2 garages. They issued me with a sketch and we still haven’t received the structural drawing some 6 months later.
This company was recommended to me by the ICF supplier. I will be reporting back to the supplier with my experiences.

Could not of used a better company, after having a nightmare with other structural engineers in my local area, I was recommended Forward Structural consultants by the MD of Uniblock.

The work provided was done quickly and efficiently, to a very high standard. The communication and follow up support was above and beyond what I had expected.

I would definitely use this company in the future for any work I have, and would highly recommend them to others!

Forward Structural have been working with us on our new development and have assisted us to our complete satisfaction. We made the right decision in choosing them. Work has been completed on time and in a helpful and friendly way. Ours was a programme of build including piles, a piled raft and an ICF method of construction including steelwork. Abysmal service as per the other reviews on this site. I sent an official complaint via Istructe as Tim added weeks of delays to our project. I recommend all other unhappy customers do the same, it is not right to conduct business in this way.

Update - please note that Tim never responded to any of my emails chasing for the report (he said it would be due March 2022 and it never arrived - with no explanation - forcing me to find a new structural engineer leading to extra delays). He also took 2 months to respond to this review which doesn’t chime with the idea that he had a full-time reception

I engaged Forward Structural Consultants Ltd last summer for the self-build of my ICF Nudora home.
Initially I spoke to Tim and then the structural designs were carried out by Christine, who then became my contact for all further queries. I must admit when she sent me the drawings and calculations (about 50 pages ) it might as well have been in Greek. This has not been a problem because with many phone calls over the last 6 months she has explained every part of the calculations as and when they became relevant. Starting with the engineered slab, the construction of the ICF walls and the cut roof. I now look at those same calculations and they mean something to me.
I will definitely use Forward Structural again on my next project. I probably phoned them over 40 times and they answered every time, if Christine wasn’t available then I was always professionally helped by one of her colleagues.
I have read some of the bad reviews on here and they absolutely do not correlate with my experience of Forward Structural. Also, like one of the bad reviewers I am happy for anyone to contact me.
