Called in for a few items today while passing (Not local) I couldn’t help noticing how rude the woman behind the counter was. No courtesy whatsoever. Manners cost nothing. I was also taken back by the use of bad language from a shopkeeper in what I thought was a nice area.

Called into said post office today for a postal order. The amount I asked for was not what the female was charging me and I questioned this. I was met with rudeness, abruptness and not her fault for the charge, with no explanations. What happened to “polite customer service with a smile” I am a grieving widow, who has been fraudulently scammed of savings, I don’t really want to be in this world currently, only to be met with arrogance, and attitude. I thought it was me but on walking out there was a very nice Royal Mail man coming out stating more or less the same about his experience and repeating my experience and how rude she was with me. Thank you Royal Mail man for saying that, whoever you are.
Note to staff member it costs nothing to be polite, and pleasant you have no idea what people are going through!!

Maybe a few days training at Kirkham post office will teach her how to be respectful to her employers customers.

Was in about a year ago, an nothing has changed. Same rude women behind the till that refuses to help with anything. No point it being a post office if you can do anything apart from send a letter. As that is apparently all its there for. Avoid at all costs!

Staff are very rude, i have been ignored at the till on multiple occasions. Was made to queue twice only to be told they wouldnt send my parcel and to leave. I drive to preston where the service is miles better

The son will is such a delightful gent saved my Nana from a house fire and gave her the kiss of life and he wasn’t even bothered that she gave him a cold sore
