I found the Gentle Recovery course online when I was at rock bottom after 15 months of treatment for breast cancer. It has been a revelation learning from India the gentle yoga techniques of regulated breathing and strengthening movements and regaining my balance both physically and spiritually. What I have learned will be helpful in future dealing with life’s difficulties.

A wonderfully welcoming, gentle, and person-centred yoga practice. India somehow tailors the session to suit the needs of those present, ensuring we don’t overstretch ourselves and feel we are focusing on what will continue to help our recovery. The venue is beautiful and perfectly suits the practice, music is meditative and calming, and there’s often an amazing little ending of relaxing with the smell of some evocative essential oil to smell, and serene music to bring you into a place of gratitude. I recommend for all those curious about whether this is right for them!

I’m so grateful I discovered India during my recovery from major surgery. I was struggling to regain strength, flexibility and mobility and was concerned that I would do myself harm if I tried to do regular exercises on my own. Her in depth knowledge of the body and understanding of my needs engendered my confidence and her unique approach combining her skills as an experienced physiotherapist and yoga teacher was just what I needed. She tailored a gentle program for me which worked surprisingly fast and I would not hesitate to recommend India to anyone needing professional yet gentle, good humoured guidance during their recovery.

I’ve found the Gentle Recovery Yoga Program very helpful. It’s well presented and comprehensive. Initially after breast cancer treatment I tried to go back to my normal exercise which was just too much. It’s very confusing knowing what’s best to do so I was very relieved when I found this. I thoroughly recommend this programme.

I underwent treatment for breast cancer last year and attended India's Scar Therapy Treatment as I had restricted movement in my arm due to the scar tissue. She provided treatment over 6 sessions and now I have a full range of movement in my arm. I thought I would have to live with the consequences of having had breast cancer but with the correct treatment, I'm no longer restricted with what I can do. I was skeptical at first but even after one session, there was some improvement! Thank you India.

The amazing oncology staff saved my life with chemo, but Gentle Recovery Yoga Programme gave me back the joy of life. I can now get on with my life, even enjoy it and have fun!

Gentle Recovery Yoga Programme got the aches and pains in my joints, caused by my long term drugs, under control. I can now get back to the things I love, like gardening and even running.

Gentle Recover Yoga Programme was my life line and took my mind to a better place at some very difficult times. You do come out of those dark places but I got out a lot quicker and have skills to use to help me when the black clouds appear thanks to the Gentle Recovery Yoga Programme
