Contacted global mediation 11th September, was told I would get a confirmation email regarding my case, still waiting for this!! I have contacted global mediation 7 times to request my case number and to speak to my case manager……still nothing!!! My child’s school have called so have the early inclusion team but can’t speak to anyone without a case number. I am now 8 days passed to arranged cut off date and nobody has contacted in regards to the outcome and no mediation certificate has been emailed or posted. Disgusting service I would avoid and use another company. The only correspondence I’ve record is a sms !! No contact In 5 weeks and I’ve called over 7 times to request my case number and to have an update, that 7 messages “ passed on” and I am still waiting. Our local authority have stated global mediation are still yet to contact them.

Despite the involvement of numerous professionals, each providing consistent advice and recommendations for Crystal to receive additional support, including a specialist school placement, these recommendations have repeatedly been overlooked or declined by the local authority.

It is disheartening that the local authority has consistently failed to adequately review and consider the wealth of medical evidence and professional reports submitted in support of Crystal’s Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) application. Experts from CAMHS, occupational therapy, audiology, and educational psychology have provided clear documentation of ** severe sensory sensitivities and emotional regulation difficulties. Yet, despite these comprehensive assessments and reports, the necessary support has been delayed or denied, leading to further setbacks in her educational and emotional development.

I cannot help but feel that this situation is a reflection of a broader failure within the educational system, where bureaucracy and inadequate review processes have resulted in vulnerable children like *** being denied the support they so urgently require. The repeated dismissal of expert advice and the local authority’s failure to act in accordance with their statutory obligations have caused significant distress for both Crystal and our family.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that efforts are made to ensure that other families do not have to endure similar challenges when seeking the support their children deserve.

This is a great service. As a parent I was feeling very over-whelmed with meetings, forms, emails , etc., and I procrastinated doing what I needed to do as I felt mentally drained by the whole situation.

With global mediation, I literally had to make one phone call and they dealt with everything. I had emails from them to schedule a date that worked for me, I phone call a few days beforehand to go through everything I needed to know and Loveday (Global Mediation) was there to introduce and lead the session. For the first time, I genuinely felt like it wasn't solely on me to get things moving and chase. It's been a breath of fresh air and I would highly recommend this service.

All of the staff I have spoken with have a good knowledge base. They do not advise in personal situations but have so much time for they customers and ensuring they understand the process.
I had conflicting advise from my LA and GM made sure I understood my rights and made it clear as to how things would work.
They are empathetic, don't rush the call and allow you a safe place to explain what your hopes are.

This company is an absolute disgrace. If they get paid for this service they should pay all the money back. Tried to organise a mediation and absolutely nothing in 30 days. Big waste of time and their excuse was they had not had a reply from the other side. I had to contact them to say "please chase then" and it took an age to get replies. Eventually was given their emergency number for urgent issues and it was no surprise that that number didn't answer once and just rung out. I would advise to go to tribunal straight off rather than waste your time with this company.

Due to an increased number of requests for mediation by Global Mediation we were unable to reach the stage of mediation so were just sent a mediation certificate. I guess it is good to see more people are looking to go the route of harmony as opposed to conflict. I just hope you are given more resources to make this possible for people. Although we didn't get chance to utilise your services we do believe in what you stand for.
Keep trying to solve issues through kindness & cooperation rather than fighting!

Terrible support. Every query was replied with generic answers. They couldn't be bothered to contact the local council to set up a meeting...or if they did they were uninterested in chasing for one, despite me asking.
The staff were generally dismissive and the tone of emails was that they didn't care one bit.
