I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Absolute shambles of a company. Their lack of professionalism is astounding! I was not a direct client but have been seriously affected by their incompetence to the point of being technically homeless for over 6 weeks. They agree dates for completion & don't adhere to them & wouldn't respond to emails for over a week every time they were contacted & wouldn't take calls from anyone in the housing chain, not even their own client! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Absolutely DO NOT USE Gavin Coates from this firm. He kept important paperwork on his desk for over a week when time was of the essence! He told us we needed adverse possession which would take 2 months minimum, which we didn’t have that time so nearly lost our sale and future home, we took the risk and proceeded and it was only an updated boundary which took 10 days, but if we’d took his word we would have pulled out. He was extremely passive aggressive, his tone when speaking to you was off , not professional at all . A very arrogant man .

Not a direct client but the seller. These are a terrible firm to have as part of your chain, completion was due 6th Dec, still awaiting Jan 19th, and not even a sigh of a date yet, they are non responsive to agents, they don’t care about time frames . We’ve been advised by Hegartys they have now been removed from the recommended list due to many delayed clients. Avoid at all costs

Unfortunately despite not being a direct client I had to suffer this poor service. Poor communication. Unnecessary delays. Appeared to have zero interest in preventing the chain from collapsing. The client had to do some of the work themselves otherwise we never would have progressed. Awful. Would be embarrassed to be associated with this company.

I must emphasise that I’m not a direct client, but am attempting to buy a house where they have been appointed by the vendors. Our experience of this firm has been abysmal: unnecessary delays, appalling communication with my solicitor and absolutely zero urgency to get anything done. I’ve sometimes asked myself if the solicitor is delaying this process for a laugh. Frequently sends emails to my solicitor with zero info or desire to commit to a timeline for the conveyancing. The best was ‘No, as per my last email.’. Perhaps a course in communication skills and taking professional responsibility would help. If you’re buying with this particular individual at the helm of your onward contract, beware!

Received a quote for conveyancing for a property I am purchasing. I wished to proceed and accepted the terms. 7 days went by, and I hadn’t received any paperwork. I called to query this to be advised that it hadn’t been actioned and would be ‘another couple of days’. Needless to say, this was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of everyone’s time. The staff I spoke with were all pleasant and this review is not a reflection of their conduct over the phone or by email but only that of the lack of actionable service that was not received.

Absolutely hopeless! Trusted them with our home move and they were a complete let down resulting in our house falling through. Shocking communication and lack of care. Stay well clear!!!
