I didn’t feel that Mark, the solicitor who undertook my case, demonstrated adequate commitment to the case.
Many of my e-mails to him were replied to very late. At some point, after getting no response from him for over two months, I felt he was no longer interested in the case. Being outside the UK at that time was the only reason I didn't look for another solicitor.
The barrister appointed for me showed even less commitment to my case. A request I made to the solicitor to allow me see her (the barrister) a day before the final hearing so I could discuss some critical areas of the case with her was refused. In the end, her representation was not as good as it could have been because there were gaps in her knowledge of the case. She let the opposing party get everything they wanted with little or no resistance form our side.
I can say that what the Court awarded me in the end was despite, rather than because of, the quality of my legal representation.

Fabulous work that Sarah Miller has done for me and my son. Highly highly recommend this firm.
