Phone been ringing for 30 mins, still no one has picked up. 0843 number too! Not too bad if freephone or landline but 0843!

I also rang an 0843 number that came up as the highest entry on a Google search as Land Registry's contact number, and was charged £14 for two phonecalls! Land Registry say it is a scam and nothing to do with them. Has anyone else been affected by this?
