I was deeply disappointed with the service at Holborn Notary as follows:
- My name was wrongly written in the document and I had to go back to the office to get a revised one. When I went back, Mr Kumar did not apologise and rather took it for granted.
- Documents were missing and I had to go back again.
- I got a wrong quote over the phone when I asked further documents. He insisted that I had misunderstood but I think it was his strategy to let me return his office and compromise.
- After all these problems, I tried another nortary office nearby. It turns out to be more professional with more reasonable fees.
- I cannot forget what he said when I was leaving the office: “It is not worth working with your charity”. This indeed represents the level of his professionalism and personality.

Answering Mr Kumar's response:
The facts are indeed as I stated. I have no incentive to tell a lie here. I simply described what happened with my case with Mr Kumar. First, I paid for his service regarding a letter of attorney. It was more expensive than the one offered nearby. What he stated is about the next step which I refused due to a wrong quotation. Second, he is not admitting the fact that he made a mistake about my name. Third, unless he stated “it is not worth working with your charity”, I would never imagine such a demeaning expression. Let potential clients decide which one is correct.
