After my mum passed away we used Hooks to sort out her will and probate. They were very efficient, and handled things for us with little stress but the whole process took far too long. Whether that was down to them or those they were in contact with, I dont know. But they were very kind and showed great empathy. If processes were handled quicker it would be better. I do, however, recommend them. Sacha Huckle was wonderful

When my wife died I asked Hook & Partners to deal with the matter of probate as I had used them some years before. I then used their services in making a new will, LPA and property registration. Sacha Huckle and Russell & David Hook, undertook these actions for me. In every instance I was met with kindness, empathy & understanding, both from them and from Rita & Angela. Everything (including costs) was made clear and explained in layman’s terms. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services. They helped smooth the path at a difficult time in my life

They dealt with a family matter and I found them to be totally incompetent, they have caused a huge miss justice and a lot of heart ache and pain. I feel I was totally ripped off, the solicitor in question, I feel...was purely interested in her personal gain for money without any compassion for the case that she was dealing with. I complained to the firm and was met with a whole load of empty excuses for her conduct. I'm now lead to believe the offending solicitor is no longer employed by the firm. I would never use this firm again.

Hook & partners recently did some legal work on behalf our family. I have used various solicitors over the years but Hooks were by far the best. Russell Hook is excellent at what he does, everything was done without delay & was extremely precise & we felt safe & secure knowing he was doing a good job. Rita who works along side Russell Hook made sure that at every step of the way we were kept informed, she made sure that everything was done correctly by us all before it was submitted so there were no delays. Rita went above & beyond to ensure that the process we needed to follow went smoothly. She explained every detail to us. I never had to chase anything up at all as we were always contacted when anything changed. We were so pleased and will definitely use Hooks again for future needs. I will also recommend them to friends & family. Thankyou so much.

Pretty poor. To be honest they weren't great dealing with my house move a few years ago, almost dropped the ball several times and the completion seemed to last weeks longer than necessary. I felt I ended up pushing most of the actions through over those last few weeks in the absence of the 'lead' Solicitor.

However, I've contacted Hooks several times over the past few years about services they clearly say they offer on their website.

After dealing with the always surly and borderline rude receptionist, I haven't received the promised return call, have chased, and still haven't had a response.

If they don't deal with the area of law detailed on the website, they should review and remove those areas of law and legislation not covered.

Very good service for us in making a Will, made it straight forward explained what we needed to know and easy to understand there info. The proceeding were comfortable and made to feel at ease while going through the procedures. We came away happy with what we had done and David the governor, Angela & Rita a big thank you.
