This little gem of a museum is well worth a visit. Free entry (donations welcome) affords a glimpse into the social history of Bishop's Castle and South West Shropshire.  Although only small, essentially being just four rooms, the little Elizabethan timber-framed building houses a treasure trove of artefacts and covers a really wide range of subjects, from the great wars through to ancient farming practices and the occasional pandemic.  When we visited, the two volunteers were both enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and upstairs we enjoyed a chat to a gentleman who then treated us to some brilliant period music.  A great place to spend an hour or so on a rainy afternoon.
