Having to use Post Office for Evri parcels while other place is refurbished. On one of my parcels I watched as lady at the counter misapplied part of the label, then ripped it back off, damaging the packaging and reapplied the label with part still flapping. I was assured it would be ok. PARCEL LOST ?. Have now sent two more parcels ( one to replace the lost one) and 4 days later the tracking still says (we have got your parcel). Never had a problem with 50 plus parcels before via the Garage that does EVRI. Very angry about it.

Polite and efficient.
Not even 1 star today. Do not believe their opening times. Travelled miles today to post a parcel but not open until 9 had Morrisons deliver. Disgraceful service.

Review update: Star score uprated. I eventually managed to speak to someone who was quite helpful with answering my post office service request. However, still not impressed that I had to ring 4 times over the space of an hour before the phone was answered.

An utterly miserable and totally depressing experience. The Post Office of Doom Ilfracombe! Really needs to improve on customer service. I’m only giving one star because there wasn’t a no star option. Locals and visitors deserve better.

The post office member of staff with the South African accent stuck a label half off the front of a package, I kindly asked her to replace it. I was told "We can't take them off once they are on!" This is ludicrous! Out of the nine item's I posted that day the item she failed to put the label in correctly and the item has been lost n the post as a result costing me £30 in a refund to a buyer that I asked her to correct. The older guy with the glasses the checkouts is blunt and rude and can speak to customers in a very unprofessional manner, I'm surprised he hasn't been pulled up on this and the same applies for other various members of staff. The shop gets closed for deliveries during opening hours as well so that is another problem with the way the store is run. I'm sure the staff are under a lot of pressure in some some areas so thank you to those of you that are polite and professional
