I'm not sure that there's ever a truly easy divorce; unfortunately mine was complicated by the diametrically opposed views of the two parties.

The situation was further complicated by inherited assets. Margaret Simpson was able to offer unemotional, accurate and non-confrontational advice. She found points that other firms missed. Indeed the other party's inability to understand the case led to a protracted (and often personal) process.

Throughout the entire period I felt that the advice given was both professional, concise and always with an aim to reach a satisfactory agreement. Margaret rebuffed every attempt by the other side to try and derail this process.

Ultimately my case ended in court after two years of trying to settle. Whilst this was the last resort, I felt the Silk team had made every effort to avoid this outcome. The advice they had given me was upheld and I am in a much better position for it.
