Today was the first time I experienced 'fire cupping' with Jo. She combined fire cupping with acupuncture.
Wow, the sensation was amazing. My back felt warm and I experienced a deep sense of relaxation. When leaving the clinic I felt very sleepy and I continued to feel that way all afternoon.

After a couple of years trying to naturally conceive and two unsuccessful IVF cycles, I went to see Jo. Jo helped me to realign my focus and nurture my body and mind. Jo is unique in that she can provide reflexology to help rebalance the different hormones, followed by acupuncture to boost circulation and relaxation. By letting Jo use her experience to guide the sessions helped reduce my anxieties and let me focus on relaxing. When we both felt I had made the progress needed I then went for a third round of IVF. My sessions temporarily increased just before the transfer to ensure an optimum internal environment and with this my womb lining was the thickest I'd had that led to a successful implantation. I then continued to see Jo to ensure my body remained a relaxed, healthy environment to sustain the pregnancy and 9 months later gave birth to my healthy, beautiful daughter. I found Jo easy to talk to and she provided helpful tips based on her years of experience in the field but also her own experiences. She's continually undergoing studies and courses to expand her knowledge so she can really help her clients. I'm really thankful that I found her and glad she remains a good friend.

I can’t thank Jo enough. A year after having my first appointment I’m sat cuddling my second baby boy ❤️ After struggling to conceive our first son I approached Jo in the hope we could have an easier journey second time round. She is so knowledgeable about how to conceive naturally and offers so much more than just Accupuncture and reflexology. We conceived after a few months and have now completed our family. I saw Jo for support with my fertility after suffering from two losses and struggling to get pregnant. I honestly cannot recommend Jo more. She really cares for her fertility ladies, is very knowledgable (but is always expanding her knowledge through courses and books), I feel that her prices are reasonable, Jo herself is genuinely kind and thoughtful. For me part of what I found really helpful was having Jo to talk to, she never pried but for me she was someone I could talk to. Having issues with your fertility can feel lonely but Jo helped me feel less lonely, she was someone I could talk to, vent to and occasionally have a cry on. Jo always made me feel empowered, something I’d lost and gave practical help and advice with diet and life style, as well as reflexology and acupuncture. I am very happy to say that I’m sat writing this with my 12 week old baby asleep on my chest❤️
I also saw Jo towards the end of my pregnancy to help get me ready for labour and help me not needing to be induced. My waters were broken for me but that was all the medical support I needed as I was already 2-3cm dilated and needed more other forms of induction. My labour felt very positive.

I first tried acupuncture last year to help heal some ugly scar tissue after an injury. The difference was unbelievable after just a few sessions, and after six I was more than happy with the result.
This year Jo has been supporting me with a very serious health condition and I honestly feel that her knowledge and support is really helping me cope, emotionally and physically. Jo has taken the time to research my condition and plans her treatments accordingly to support me in the best way she can. Her knowledge is amazing but Jo is also very caring and empathetic. Acupuncture has become an important part of my self care routine and her mixed reflexology and acupuncture treatment is just so relaxing and healing.

I was in AGONY with a “frozen shoulder”when I was fortunate enough to chance upon Jo’s surgery/haven in Burley. During my first consultation I was struck by how little I had to explain about my symptoms as she seemed to recognise them from what she saw and from my answers to her questions. Her treatment felt like therapy and I felt relaxed and at ease throughout. I can testify that I have been pain-free since that first session, and have not needed painkillers. I did not expect such drastic results and I am delighted. Jo’s manner is warm and reassuring and I am very grateful to have found her!

Jo is a life changer.
My family will never have the words to thank her for everything she did for us.
After one very successful first pregnancy, I was devastated when I lost 2 babies 2 years later.
I was recommended to Jo via a friend and felt instantly supported by her just after a phone conversation.
Her knowledge is second to none and she made sure that every single treatment was enjoyable and comfortable for me.
After 3 months of following her guidance, she said my body was ready and we fell pregnant again straight away.
I continued to see Jo throughout my pregnancy as she was able to tackle pains, acid reflux etc and then worked in indication at the end.
Our family is now complete and we owe it all to Jo.

Jo has been a fabulous support through our fertility, pregnancy, and birth journey. She is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about women’s health and fertility and is holistic in her approach. She shared her knowledge unconditionally, taking the time to explain the theory behind what she is doing/suggesting and being responsive to my needs each session and between sessions. I have found Jo to be very friendly and approachable, she is easy to talk to, kind and caring. She goes above and beyond to support you. I have no doubt that Jo has been an integral part of our journey to becoming a family, we were on the waitlist for fertility treatment in the nhs when I started to see Jo but have not needed to pursue this route. Jo helped to prepare my body and mind for pregnancy (supporting with symptoms of PCOS that were impacting on fertility) and then through pregnancy (including managing symptoms of pregnancy including indigestion and water retention etc) - all contributing to a happy and relaxed pregnancy and the safe arrival of our little girl. I cannot thank or recommend Jo enough.
