So did I trust the process to begin with?…no. Did I think therapy was my thing?…no. Has it transformed my outlook on life and different circumstances?… YES! The process is definitely worth trusting, particularly if you have Jo supporting you all the way. Jo is calm, reflective, thought-provoking and totally genuine. She provides a calm space to talk with absolutely no pressure to commit and is incredibly kind and honest in her approach. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a little mental health TLC. It totally worked for me despite my lack of belief. I take it all back! Thanks so much 🙂

My Husband and I went to marriage counselling with Joanne for 18 months and we can honestly say that she is a major contributing factor to why we have come out the other side of our problems.

Joanne earned our trust straight away with her warm and empathic manner. We never felt that Joanne took sides with either of us or judged us but she would challenge us both to see things from the other’s perspective.

Joanne saw us both individually after our first joint session, which we both thought was highly beneficial for her understanding of what we were thinking/feeling. She was then able to use this knowledge in future joint sessions. She provided good guidance in terms of how often we should see her but ultimately, she was guided by how we felt so we never felt any pressure.

I would highly recommend Joanne to anybody who is looking for a marriage counsellor in Stourbridge. Thank you, Joanne for all your help and support.

Jo is a wonderfully kind and empathic counsellor.
