I’d like to thank Manjeet Kaur at KJS for helping me through a very difficult child arrangement order.
There were occasions when my emotions took over leading me down the wrong path and thankfully Manjeet was able to point these out to me objectively. Manjeet at KJS was always professional and pointing towards my child’s welfare rather than anyones ego in this matter.

KJS were very helpful. They fully explained the legalities of my case and what the options and fees would be. The solicitor, Manjeet Kaur, was very responsive, most e-mails were exchanged the same day, and were followed up with teleconferences and zoom calls when necessary. My dispute was satisfactorily concluded using Mediation, avoiding the costs of a court hearing. Very satisfied with the service and would definitely use them again.

After my experience with KJ Smith, I decided to put one star. The staff was very polite and seemed very informative until I realised I wasn’t informed about tax implication on my divorce case as my ex husband and I had more than one property.
After 10 months as the court came back with the letter asking my solicitor if I’m aware of “capital gain tax”, my solicitor (this time I had third one as KJ Smith decided to change my solicitors) informed me that they “DIDN’T NEED TO INFORMED ME ABOUT THE CAPITAL GAIN TAX”, however I was charged £200 an hour.
I asked the solicitors why wasn’t I informed about the tax implications or even mentioning CGT at the very beginning of my divorce case? The comment about the CGTax came from
a senior solicitor who is charging £250 an hour.
I withdraw my divorce case from KJ Smith before it was completed because they lost my trust, all together I was charged for my
uncompleted divorce case under £5000. Expensive mistake.
