It was after 6pm on a Saturday evening, 2nd of January 2021, I had been looking for an open post office anywhere and everywhere for 3 hours, as I was late with an important eBay delivery. I finally found this one, it is a general newsagents with store and a small post office counter next to the cash register. This was the only one that was open, when I arrived they supplied and registered on the system an Internationally Tracked service to USA. Helpful, polite and humorous staff, they told me, "if the shop is open then the post office is open".
In my eyes, this makes it an essential service - an out of hours Royal Mail post office - it is excellent, I wish i had found it earlier. Hopefully this review will help other people find this service quicker.

Used to be a reliable, well run post office, now the staff is incompetent, rude and incapable of providing basic postal services. I recommend using Gunness post office instead
