Do not use Lanyon Bowdler for private client / probate / will matters. The solicitors here are disengaged and lack compassion for bereaved families. The firm spins matters out to maximise fees. Years after instructing them to deal with a simple estate, they have yet to transfer the sums due to a local charity. The service is overpriced, uncaring and unfortunately not competent.

Company exists purely to garner tax money in the form of legal aid. UK version of ambulance chasers. If your a paying customer run a mile. If your not from shrewsbury/telford, in the police station and dont know the name of a solicitoryou WILL get lanyon and bowdler. If that doesnt tell you everything you need to know you probably deserve a solicitor whos representing the police whilst pretending to represent you.
