Initially had helpful advice from a partner but when it came to formal instruction there were delays and me chasing for a response. Then to be told my return would be done by someone I didn’t know and was never told it would not be the partner who had been working with me on my last return. Poor communication. No apology andj was told to use a one man band. This firm needs a lesson in courtesy and professionalism.

The lack of professionalism and insensitivity of this firm is demonstrated in their response. They have not only breached my late parents confidence by disclosing to the whole world they were clients and their tax habits but also the sheer insensitivity of referring to my dead parents on a response to a complaint about their services on a public forum shows what kind of people these are. They clearly will say anything to try and excuse their behaviour. Further, the partner reviewed my affairs. Misled me and never made it clear that he would not be continuing to review my affairs once for the next work. This was not made clear to me and I am entitled to assume if one person does the work when I specifically asked for that partner and explained why I wanted to instruct that partner, it was your duty to make clear any deviation. I was not even introduced to the junior accountant tasked to do my work. That is not what I signed up for. Formal complaint is now being made for your public, insensitive, breach of confidence post. How dare you refer to my late parents. It’s disgusting. They have nothing to do with this complaint.

When I first engaged Lawrence Grant it was because my accounts were a complete mess and HMRC was having a field day at my expense!

Ben and Ryan and the team basically stoped the bleeding! Under Ben's strategic management and Ryan's careful administration on the day to day stuff, they started to organise what I needed to do, and how and when to do it, and I stopped haemorrhaging money due to late payments, penalties and interest accruing.

Over the months my finances have stabilised and I am now in a good position. My personal tax situation is manageable, the company accounts are healthy, and I pay all VAT on time every time.

I get to sleep much more easily as I know that I am under expert advice, and I am genuinely grateful to them for everything that they have done for me - it has been a pleasure to be able to write this endorsement as testimony to their brilliant work.
