It’s weird to have a favourite post office and definitely makes me feel old to start appreciating places like this but honestly the nicest post office to go to. I don’t live near to this one but I work near by and opt for this one over my local one (they’re a grumpy bunch over there.)

Lovely people working here every time I go in. With a lovely little village shop attached. Every little town needs a place like this.

Top feature of the village! Good source of staples, post office is so convenient and the volunteer staff are always cheerful!
Good source of hyper local knowledge and books. Post office can be very busy at peak times with people returning items from eBay Amazon etc.
Shop has a good range of ingredients and ready to eat meals. Wine and beer is sold along with the usual milk and ice lollies!
Always makes me smile as I walk past when there's a new display in the window too.

Great little village shop. Staff are all really friendly and volunteers so fair play to them all. They even managed to open for a few hours in the difficult lockdown period which cant have been easy. Very lucky to have this convenience store I'm sure it's a life saver for many local residents. Good local ales sold too so always a good start.

A convenient shop with everything one needs to survive the village. I have however experienced great difficulty in obtaining a map of the area (a bigger area). Most of the maps seem to be only of the local area, the surrounding areas being labelled as "the mountains".
