The hours on Google say open until 10, and with it being Xmas and deliveries at their busiest, I thought that may be correct, popped by at 5.30pm and nope, it was closed, so motto here, don't believe what Google tells you!!

It was a cold and wet December day The wind was howling and biting I swear I could hear Kate Bush calling Heathcliffe as I was trekking across the moors to get there Upon entering I was greeted by a young Farah Fawcett my dreams had come true The quest to find the best post office in Yorkshire was completed This has got to be the best post office in Yorkshire The two counter women I see are amazing beautiful If I was Charlie these would be my angels As for busy talking to customers and not rushing customers through as on reviews stated oh please get a grip Surely that’s the personal touch It’s the heart of the community These two are well mannered pleasing on the eye efficient professional The human interaction is fantastic Embrace this little post office and it’s amazing staff 10/10 all the time every time I won’t frequent any other post office ever other than this one Outstanding

Google said open until 9pm on Saturdays. Turned up at 16.50 and it was shut. Sort yourself out MW post office. This isn’t good enough.

Late opening up when people are queing.Always a poor atmosphere,staff to busy chatting to customers about personal business instead of getting the public through and out of the building as quick as possible. As for the man behind the shop counter.. he seriously needs to learn customer service skills,always blunt and miserable I would be amazed if he knew how to smile

The post office , the heart any village , town or city. This one in particular is , as any visitor can tell ever popular to its customers and copes very well under strain of heavy use . Well done to the staff here .
