My daughter had an assessment with Marijke 4 weeks ago. I must say Marijke was amazing with my daughter and made her feel at ease.
She was professional and so knowledgeable, she gave my daughter regular breaks so it didn’t feel too much for my daughter.

Marijke explained every step to my daughter. Her approach and communication was great.
My daughter came out of the exam feeling very confident and happy, she even said she wish she could do the assessment all over again as Marijke was so lovely and gentle with her.

At the end of the assessment we had a chat with Marijke I’m so gutted we won’t have the chance to see her again. I have received my daughter’s report about a week ago and I’m pleased with everything.

Marijke is a credit to the team. She is absolutely brilliant.

Marijke was so welcoming and really put my nerves at rest, I am 36 years old and went to her for a private Dyscalculia assessment, Marijke was so thorough and patient with me, I really found her compassion and understanding so amazing, I told her I wished she had been my maths teacher!
The amount of time spent meticulously assessing me was tiring, but all worth it.

Marijke has had a transformational impact on my son. He struggled with maths for years and was eventually diagnosed with dyscalculia. When he first started seeing Marijke, my son was at rock-bottom with maths. But Marijke was almost magical in her teaching methods. She was able to explain things in ways that my son had never experienced. She really got through to him. My son is now predicted to get the equivalent of an A in his GCSEs. That would never have been possible without Marijke. If you have a child who struggles severely with maths, I would strongly suggest that you seek help from Marijke as your first port of call. She is genuinely a national leader in her field.

Through Marijka’s tuition company, Maria helped my son to go from a nervous but capable mathematician who was struggling to achieve pass levels in his mocks, to a confident mathematician who achieved a good pass in his GCSE exams. I was very worried about having this test because my self esteem is fragile at the best of times. Marijke was incredibly welcoming and supportive throughout. The tests were thorough and sensitively completed. At the end we discussed my plans going forward. Prior to receiving my report I had to check some personal history details to ensure they were accurate. The report was very thorough and more than adequate for the needs I have. I’m very pleased and would recommend both her and her service very highly.

I found Maths Solutions when looking for a dyscalculia assessment for my 18 year old son.
Marijke was amazing from the start, she explained everything really well, helped my son (who has ASD and ADHD) to feel at ease before and throughout the assessment and provided us with a very thorough and detailed diagnosis report. The report has lots of strategies, links to resources and recommendations for his educational settings.
We then enquired about lessons and my son started having maths tuition with Marijke. The difference in him from the very first lesson was wonderful to see. He has struggled with maths throughout his entire education and Marijke has been the only person who is able to teach him in a way he can understand and learn. She teaches to his strengths, starting with basic maths concepts, covering all the foundational gaps in his knowledge and building on from this. His progress over the 17 lessons he has had is remarkable, he is now working towards his level 2 functional skills exam.
Just as importantly Marijke has eased his severe maths anxiety and built a great relationship with him where he is so much more confident and happy, feels comfortable asking questions and looks forward to his lessons.
I am so grateful we found Maths Solutions and Marijke, her positivity, kindness, energy and enthusiasm is just what my son needed and we are grateful for all the knowledge and support she has given us along my son’s educational journey.
