We chose MBH for our sale mainly for their competitive prices but also found them really helpful friendly and knowledgeable. We had some issues with our buyers solicitor and MBH where really supportive and helped manage the situation. Would recommend!

I’m happy that the purchase went through but could have been better! We were recommended MBH Solicitors and feel we received a poor service as first time buyers. Dawn was our solicitor and as first time buyers throughout the purchasing process I found myself chasing and constantly questioning the status. We sent our contracts back and I had to chase to see if they had been received I was told yes we’ve received, no update on what happens next we were sat around for a week until we then rang and said what happens and she said oh we arrange completion date. I thought why wasn’t we informed of the next steps a week ago? Both us and the sellers expressed concerns that the sale could fall through due to this lack of communication. Unless I asked the questions or pushed I wasn’t kept informed. We sent the invoice and the deposit amount (a large sum of money) and when I chased Dawn to see if she had received it she said “Yes we received it but I didn’t email you because I got busy doing something else” - considering this is the largest purchase we will ever make and such a large sum of money has been sent without acknowledgment, it’s just completely lazy behaviour. I contacted the sellers directly to agree a completion date, and we all emailed and confirmed with the solicitors. Exchange did not happen until the day of completion which Dawn explained this was quite common, but throughout Dawn kept telling me it was due to the other solicitors not being ready, despite the estate agents contacting Dawn and myself for an update as they had spoken to the sellers solicitors who said they were ready. So I’m not sure what happened there. I was organised throughout the process with everyone, and made sure to do my research to not hold anything up (despite never going through this before) and I found each time I spoke with Dawn I was unclear or not informed at all. The last week of exchange and completion was the most unorganised stressful experience. The whole purchase was filled with no updates, no call backs and constantly chasing. If we were to move again I would not be using this company, nor would I recommend.

I have used MBH Solicitors four times now for house sales and purchases, the reason I keep going back to them is because they are amazing! Caroline and Georgia always go above and beyond to push things along in the process and I always look forward to every conversation with them. The team is both friendly and professional and I wouldn't think twice about using them again. Honestly... if you need a solicitor don't look anywhere else, they really are the best around!
