Big thanks to the staff of MDHP! We experienced great service from start to finish. Don was very friendly and helpful throughout, he answered all of my questions through the process, giving some really helpful advice. The surveyor very promptly came out to measure, and completed the drawings 2 weeks earlier than planned, which was fantastic! Thanks again to the Team.

Engaged MDHP to look at a project we are buying. I knew it need work but was concerned about the structural integrity of the building. Found Don to be extremely knowledgeable both of the building construction and the local geology .Don has a easy manner and can quickly convey complex issues in a clear easy to understand way. I look forward to working with MDHP as the project progresses .

I'm sure their services are really good, if you can get them to ever follow up. I had a site survey and was told an email with a quote would be along shortly, Three months later and after having chased by phone four times I can only assume they are too busy or uninterested in doing the work, I've now had another company come in and quote.

If I could give zero stars I would. Receptionist spent 5 minutes "telling me off" down the phone because a voicemail was left too fast for her to hear and couldn't understand what was being said. I was trying to speak to her in a professional capacity, but she still felt the need to continue being extremely rude, she was put on speaker phone for my manager and colleagues to hear the level of unprofessional involved in her call. I passed her to my manager, who said that she clearly did understand the voicemail, as she was able to call back, and was aware of the reason for returning my call. She continued to carry on saying that I need to learn and do better. Not the first time we have had issues with the company, but this was the final straw. If I could put in a direct complaint to the company without having to speak to this lady again, I would, but we don't feel that we should subject ourselves to speaking to such a rude and ignorant person again.

I saw MDHP structural engineers about removing part of a wall and getting advice on a steel supported beam across. The engineer knew his subject, came to the house and looked at all the structure. When he sent his drawing and specifications, I was surprised to see them handwritten and not even a ruler used to draw measurements of the area involved. These drawings had to be handed in to the local council. I'm disappointed at the standard of these, as clearly no time was spend at all to put this together, while at the same time I was charged a relatively high fee. I don't think the expertise of the engineer was reflected in his drawing.

We had an urgent need for some structural engineering design for a kitchen extension, MDHP were superb - responding quickly, visiting the site and delivering thorough designs at under time pressure, can't fault the service. Superb.

Asked Peter, Russell and the team to manage an application and calcs on the removal of a wall in a GII listed building. They did this with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency - the application was passed and the work completed. A professional service - Highly recommended.
