My experience with the Commercial Mediation Course at the Mediator Academy was an interesting one. I must say.
The first set of lessons focused on clarifying concepts, which is very suitable for first-time learners.
I also appreciate the rich video interactions on concepts with experienced mediators. It gave a refreshing feel away from too many texts and materials. Of course, there were abundant texts and materials on each concept explained.
The climax of my learning journey was the mediation case. It helped breathe life into all the lessons learned in the course.
The assessments require the learner to pay careful attention to the lessons, which gets rid of any attempt to skip lessons without actually learning from them.
I personally benefited from the self-paced course structure.
And the faculty is always available to respond to your emails and queries about just anything.
The course experience was overall cool in every sense of the word.

My keen interest in the Alternative Dispute Resolution specialization gained more stance and clarity when I was opportune to take the Foundational Certificate in Commercial Mediation Course through the Mediation Academy platform. The course module was quite tasking but fun, educative, and a good guide on what Commercial Mediation was all about. The course module also made me understand what is expected of a Mediator and how mediation session is used in solving disputes and also covers the enforcement of the recent Singapore Convention of 2019. It undoubtedly and soundly analyzed the facilitative nature of Mediation and Mediation laws in different countries.I also appreciated the good quality video and life session of a mediation process in the course. The quizzes and exams were in the modules and helped in examining my level of assimilation of what has been taught in each lessons.
I recommend the course to any individual that has an interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
