Sold my flat with Michael's Property and they were very impressive. The whole process was incredibly professional and friendly.
After providing a valuation they were very understanding and patient as it took a few months for me to be in a position to market the property. Once it was on the market they I had viewings booked in very quickly.
After I accepted an offer the sales progression team kept me in the loop with regular updates and were proactive in getting updates from both sets of solicitors. They really helped reduce the stress.
I'll certainly be using Michael's for any future property sales and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

I wouldn’t often write bad reviews, but my experience renting for two years with Michael’s as the property manager was disappointing and at times frustrating. We reported black mould issues, which weren’t properly investigated, despite our suggestions such as the landlord providing a dehumidifier. They implied it was our fault, despite us ventilating the flat as much as we could. We also went through a period of electricity cuts which took a long time to resolve, we had to replace our fridge/freezer food multiple times and had a week without electricity/heating over Christmas.

After moving out, we waited over four weeks for our deposit. Michael’s tried to charge us for the black mould, then quickly backtracked after we argued against it. They then attempted to charge us for a broken toilet paper holder that was already damaged on arrival, clearly stated on our opening inventory when we moved in. I’m sure the landlord (who we never had any contact with) may have been complicating things on their end, but I still cannot recommend them due to the frustrating and poor service we experienced.

Thank you to Kyle and Sam for a friendly and flawless service. I am a tenant and had to relocate rapidly, the process was easy and stress free, communication always great with fast responses and a positive outlook. Things couldn’t have gone better, very pleased 🙂

Pathological liars, they ignore your calls and emails when you need them. They ignored 5 of my emails and then emailed me about scheduling a new tenant viewing, I only agreed to this viewing if Michaels responded to my previous emails about problems in my property, which they did in order to get the tennant viewing booked. When the new tennant came over I heard the agent outright lie and say "as you can see there's an issue with the door frame, the tennant only emailed about this yesterday and we're already getting it sorted". They are absolute liars. They kept a large amount of my deposit, when I moved in they lied about having the apartment professionally cleaned. When I moved in there was still the old tenants underwear in the drawers and rust in the bathroom radiators, they are absolute liars. When I first moved in they forgot to tell me the passcode to enter my building, I called their number and emergency number and was ignored for 5 hours. I could continue typing my bad experiences but I've said enough.

They will be super nice until you pay the deposit, as soon as you've paid they are useless, ignore you, and lie lie lie... If I could give 0/5 I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

What can I say, other than this this is the best estate agents in Essex and we had to deal with a lot. The member of staff we had the most contact with, Kyle, was just so helpful, understanding and personable. He really is a huge asset to the great team at Michael's.
