Like a previous person's review, ghosted by the agent. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but having had a bad experience with this agency I feel it only right. I was contacted by Morepeople after applying for a job. I went out of my way to attend the job interview and then heard nothing back. I even followed my interview up with an email and had not reply back. Highly unprofessional. Will I use Morepeople again...... Not likely.

Approximately 10 months ago I applied and was invited to interview with both directors, it was a fairly good interview with all parties engaged but I never heard from them again despite following up twice, directly to Richard and then Andrew via email and LinkedIn.

It spoke volumes about the way business is handled. have never been treated this way by a professional organisation previously.

I had a quite negative experience with the company More People, as a candidate.
I applied directly for a mid-senior role on a private company website - the application was not submitted to this recruitment agency, it was submitted directly to the company I was applying to work at. After applying I learnt More People were the company's recruitment agent and rather than get back to me directly they put me in touch with a agent named Mr G Mallender at More People. My application was bespoke, took about 10-hours to prepare and was highly detailed for this mid-senior role. I initially had a telephone interview organised with Mr Mallender which was difficult to arrange. He missed (possibly forgot?) the first telephone appointment, and then was 15-minutes late for the rearranged telephone interview about 5-days later. I was told there would be a further (second) interview and the company was interested in speaking with me and organising an interview. I then started preparing for a formal interview with the company for the next few days after work. However, this is where things go badly wrong. Mr Mallender never replied again after the telephone interview. No further communication or feedback was provided - at all. I was ghosted. I sent him several emails and voicemails to follow up but received no further communcation on the matter. The whole process was such a waste of my time and energy. I applied directly to the company as I wanted to avoid recruitment agents and situations like this. I would recommend not applying for a job that is offered via More People - or using them as your recruitment agency, as they simply have no regard for candidates and lack basic levels of communication and professionalism.
