I would recommend MWS, more specifically Ollie, for mortgage advice through a friend who has also used them to mortgage their first home.

Initially Ollie met with me to discuss what I wanted, what my financial situation was and if my application would be feasible. Ollie presented information to me which clearly outlined what a mortgage was, how they work, and we looked at what repayments would look like as well as overpayments. Ollie went away and came back with quotes from well known High Street banks/building societies. After discussing pros and cons I selected a certain bank and Ollie went off to do the behind the scenes work.

MWS were very transparent throughout the process and made sure I understood each element correctly before proceeding.

Ollie was also able to look into Life Insurance and Critical Illness cover for me, again all without fuss and thoroughly laid out on an interactive spreadsheet.

The mortgage went through and I didn’t experience and issues as any fallout was captured by Ollie.

On a personal note, I had some issues with non-financial related concerns with my new home which Ollie helped out with a telephone call from him at 8pm on a Friday evening.

A well run family company, that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone, particularly anyone new to the property ladder!
