Visitors to Claydon House often praise the well-maintained gardens and the impressive interior of the house, which showcases the family's wealth and taste. The walled garden, though currently closed off, can still be admired through an archway, adding to the overall beauty of the property. The house itself is an architectural marvel, featuring stunning decor and captivating history that engages visitors who have an interest in the past.

While the attraction may not be specifically tailored for children, it does offer a good cafe in the courtyard and well-maintained restroom facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. The car park, though small, is easily accessible and well-equipped to handle the needs of visitors.

Overall, National Trust - Claydon provides an enchanting and educational experience for those seeking a glimpse into the lives of the upper class in the past. With its beautiful gardens, historic house, and welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder that this attraction consistently receives high praise from visitors.

Smallish car park but I arrived early so no problem for me. Nice simple gardens (walled garden fenced off but could view through archway). House impressive inside with beautiful architecture and decor. History captivating if you're into that. Not much for kids here. Good cafe in courtyard and toilets of course.

Claydon Estate is a fascinating place. With it's links to Florence Nightingale you are literally walking on the same floors she walked on. The carved wood around the many door frames and the plaster ceilings are amazing. Each room is so different. The Chinese room is like nothing I have seen before in a National Trust property. The Grand staircase is beautiful. The guides in the rooms are great and will answer any of your questions. Fans of Bridgerton would love it as there has been some filming there for the last series. The gardens are so pretty with little hidden areas. The church is open to the public too and again full of history. The café in the courtyard and other shops, florist, spa etc are not connected to the National Trust and you can visit these free of charge. Large car park with plenty of disabled parking. Definitely worth a visit if you love a bit of history and are looking for a day out.

Beautiful place, lots of space, the house inside is beautiful. The ladies who talk about the house and answer questions are very nice. You can eat something and drink coffee or have a picnic.

Nice place and worth visiting if you like visiting national trust properties, but i have been to a lot better places within the National trust. Court yard and café are good, a number of boutique shops to look in. Again ok place but for me I have seen and been to better, great these places are being taken care of.

Well worth a visit, from the outside it appears as a classic georgian country mansion, but, th inside architecture and devoration is just extraordinaey. Tha parkland and adjacent church are full of interest.
Friendly and knowledgable volunteering staff and cafe make this a destination not to be missed.
