My first experience of Nick Cooke was some years back now when I wanted to remove two chimney breasts from a terraced house but my neighbour was pretty intransient in providing consent for a party wall agreement.

Nick suggested a solution that allowed the chimney breast to be removed without interfering with the party wall but instead having a steal beam resting on the front and rear wall to support the weight of the remaining chimney stack. Since then I have continued to use his services for various projects.

As others have remarked he is very affable and a pleasure to work with.
