I've recently had an exceptional experience provided by NCLS having been contacted in a rapid turnaround due to a cancellation. The solicitor that advised me had previously assisted me via the NCLS, David Laws, and he is honestly one of the most humbling lawyers I've ever spoken to. It's apparent that David isn't a lawyer that puts greed above justice. Quite the contrary. He treats you with the utmost respect irrespective of whether he's volunteering his time or advising as a paid provider. I certainly didn't feel as though I was undervalued in comparison to financially comfortable clients. If I require legal advice in the future, I will not hesitate to contact NCLS, or, if I'm in a position to afford the experienced services of a trusted lawyer, I wouldn't hesitate to pay for David's time, and know that it's money well spent. I talked to them before and had a lawyer give me free advice and I’ve tried to call them again about a different situation. They have not called me back and I’ve called them about five times.

I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I really feel I must, for the wonderful service I received at the NCLS.
Having relationship difficulties with my partner and specifically, possibIe future challanging issues concerning our son, I reached out for help to these guys, having been given their name by another organisation who couldn't help me. The young lady who took my initial call was very sympathetic and understanding to my situation and made careful and accurate notes, before scheduling a telephone interview with one of the partners, Mr Robin Wide.
Mr Wide called me at the designated time, and spoke to me for 20 minutes, giving his valuable time freely and without pressure (at this stage, certainly) to take things further. He gave me full, unbiased and heart-felt advice which, has assured me of the route I need to take going forward.
Hopefully, my partner and I can resolve our differences and stay together, but should we get to a point when things become untenable, I would not hesitate to call the practice/Mr Wide again, to escalate matters.
Thank you for your help at what has been a particularly tough and harrowing couple of weeks. But for now at least, my girlfriend and I, live to fight on another day. 🙏

Didn't get back to me 4 months after my referral. I sent a complaint email and this was ignored also. Useless. I'll hire a PROPER SOLICITOR instead.
